Wuhan Marathon 2026 was the largest edition with 30,000 runners. Wuhan Three Towns FC won the Chinese Super League in 2024 - the first time a Wuhan club won the top tier. The Yangtze swimming festival attracted over 10,000 swimmers in 2026.
